Guardian Temperament

The Mastiff is an ancient breed, immense in size and unshakably loyal. Calm and affectionate with their family, they become something far different when confronted with danger. A male always rises above 30 inches at the shoulder and carries the weight of a grown man, enough to make any unwelcome visitor reconsider their plans.

Size & Structure

Males, minimum, 30 inches at the shoulder weight 160-230lbs. Females, minimum, 27½ inches at the shoulder, weight 120-160lbs. Structure, massive.

Colors & Markings

Mastiffs come in three standard colors: fawn, apricot, and brindle. All colors have a black mask and black ears. White markings on the chest and toes are acceptable but should be minimal.

Part Of Our Family

A single mastiff pair is the heart of our family farm. Our sire Goose and our dam Poppy.

Goose

Don't let the name fool you. He's a massive old boy who means business, but a wonderful, gentle giant with his family. He has a heart of gold.

Poppy

The matriarch; she keeps a watchful gaze. Her mother's instincts directs her every move. She is fierce and protective, but amazingly gentle and loving to small children and animals.

Scary History

Almost Extinct

Only a handful of Mastiffs survived World War II. By 1945, fewer than fourteen dogs remained in the United Kingdom—some accounts say just six to eight viable breeding dogs across the globe.

It became one of the closest brushes with extinction ever faced by a modern breed.

How the Breed Was Saved

U.S. and Canadian Mastiffs rescued the lineage. North American dogs weathered the war, then crossed the ocean to rebuild Britain’s bloodlines.

After the deposit we share the full purchase agreement. Once payment is complete you'll receive health records, vaccination history, feeding guidelines, and pick-up logistics.
